IISER 2022 Admission – allotment out

IISER conducts the admission process through online mode. On the basis of a candidate’s score in IISER Aptitude Test, admission is granted as SCB channel in the campuses affiliated to the institute.

Admission is provided on the basis of KVPY and JEE Advanced entrance exam. To attend the counseling candidates have to submit the scores of both these exams and download the acceptance letter (offer letter).

Candidates who want to get admission in any IISER through any entrance test can fill the application form. allotment will be issued 23rd August 2022 For SCB channel will be released in October 2022 For JEE Advanced Channel.

Out of the total seats, 50% seats can be filled through KVPY and JEE Advanced and remaining seats can be filled through SCB channel. Seat allotment for SCB channel will be released October 2022.

IISER Admission Process 2022

IISER provides admission under various channels. From below, candidates can check channel-wise admission process.

IISER Admission under KVPY Channel: Candidates who want to appear in this exam have to appear in KVPY entrance exam first. On the basis of KVPY score card, IISER will allot seats to the candidates. To participate in the counselling, candidates have to fill the application form. Candidates will also have to pay the application fee as per the requirement.

IISR Admission under JEE Advanced Channel: Under this channel, candidates are given admission on the basis of JEE Advanced score. Only JEE Advanced qualified candidates can be allowed to participate in the counselling. To register for counselling, candidates need to fill the application form. After that candidates will be able to download the acceptance letter from the website. Candidates who have registered on the website are only considered for counseling.

IISER Admission under SCB Channel: In this channel, candidates have to first attend the Aptitude Test which is conducted by IISER. The rank will be allotted to the candidate on the basis of marks obtained in Aptitude Test. On the basis of rank obtained, candidates will be allotted admission. The Joint Admission Committee will allot the seats to the candidates on the basis of choices filled, ranking and availability of seats.

50% seats in IISER institutes can be filled on account of JEE Advanced and KVPY scores. According to IISER Aptitude Test 2022 vacant seats can be occupied for the candidates on the instructions of the State and Central Board.
