Talk about a dirty fight!
Parcel thieves fought against a Texas couple who pretended to steal dirty diapers by spraying cow manure in their home.
The Austin-based parent was among several victims who, angered by a gang stealing frequent deliveries from their porches, so set up a booby trap using their baby’s waste.
However, when the masked bandits realized they had a poop-filled package in their hands, it had the opposite effect.
“Thirty minutes later, they came back with a huge bag of cow manure,” said the victim, identified only as Gabriella, Austin Station KXAN . told,
“They spread it on our front porches and on our cars in the driveway.
“It was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I called the police, filed a report, and now there is a detective in the matter.”
Residents say the fecal infestation was the culmination of rising tensions over the past month, after many homeowners in the neighborhood saw the package disappear.
Gabriella told KXAN that at least a dozen houses had been stolen.
The thieves have been caught on multiple doorbell cameras and tracked in the same black Chevy suburb with no plates, but there is little left to go to the police.
Another victim, Brittany Walker, told The Post she was nursing her baby when she saw a brazen thief swiping a large package from her entryway in broad daylight.
“I just ran outside and said, ‘I have a baby,’ and they looked at me and just laughed,” Walker said, adding that the bandits still took his package.
Austin police say homeowners can legally confront people stealing from their property, but generally urge homeowners not to interfere, especially with organized gangs, as anger flares up. and conditions can quickly become dangerous or life-threatening.
