Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission published a notification inviting online applications for Group C vacancies in the state. The board has released this advertisement for the selection of candidates for the posts of SFS, ARI, Amin, Forest Guard, Excise Constable in the state. A total of 2841 candidates will be selected for Group C posts through Combined Recruitment Examination- 2021.
All those candidates who have submitted their online applications for Group C Posts will be called for Combined Written Test. The exam is scheduled to be held on 30 January 2022. Applicants will start getting their OSSSC Group C Admit Card / Hall Ticket 2022 At least one week before the exam date.

Odisha Group C Paper Pattern & Syllabus
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the selection process conducted by the commission. All the stages of the selection process are given below:
- Written exam
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Physical Efficiency/Eligibility Test (PET)

Written exam:
To appear in the further examination stages candidates have to clear the written test. As per the guidelines of the board, it is important for the reserved categories candidates to obtain at least 30 per cent marks and the candidates who do not belong to the reserved categories have to secure 35 per cent marks in the written examination.
The written test will be of 180 marks and the question paper will also have 180 questions. Candidates will get 01 mark for each correct answer and there will be negative marking of .5 marks for each wrong answer in the test. Candidates will get a total time of 180 minutes to solve the question paper. The level of examination will be equivalent to that of matriculation.
