US-based technology major Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle’s cloud services platform for the Indian market ‘OCI Dedicated Area’ has been introduced. Which will enable customers to take advantage of the public cloud on their premises while meeting strict latency and data-sovereignty requirements.
According to the company, the OCI dedicated area is 60-75 percent Requires less data center space and electricity, with approximately one per year for a typical customer $1 million Has a very low entry price.
The new offering will allow Oracle to deliver more than 100 OCI public cloud services to customers on its premises, previously available only to public cloud customers. It will also help boost the adoption of the public cloud in the public sector, banking and other sectors that were so far restricted to do so due to regulatory and other requirements.
