Boston: An arrest has been made in Boston in connection with the stabbing of four people in the early hours of Sunday.
Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at 2:10 p.m. in the area of Stuart and Tremont Streets, where they arrested a 39-year-old Dorchester man. Police said he is accused of stabbing four people, who are expected to survive. Police said one of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries.
Two victims met on the spot. Two others went to regional hospitals. ,
Police said the suspect is expected to be charged with four counts of assault with intent to murder and four counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and assault with battery. It was not immediately known whether he was being represented by a lawyer.
