Eligibility Criteria and Fee for SSC Group C and D Stenographer Application:
educational qualification:
12 to the candidates. Must have completed / passedth 5. class asth September 2022 (last date of application) to apply for the posts from any recognized education board.

Age Range:
- For Group C Stenographer Post, candidate’s age limit is 18 years to 30 years and should be born between 01.01.2004 and 02.01.1992 (inclusive).
- For Group D Stenographer post, candidate’s age limit is 18 years to 27 years and should be born between 01.01.2004 and 02.01.1995 (inclusive).
Age relaxation is given below for certain categories as per rules.

- Application fee Rs.100/- is applicable for others.

- Candidates can also make payment through online and offline channel mode. Accepted payment methods are – Netbanking, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit Card, BHIM UPI, by cash through SBI Challan at SBI branches.

Selection Process Details SSC Group C & D Stenographer:
- Written Test – CBT (Computer Based Test)
This CBT exam consists of MCQ-type paper, which will have a negative marking process of 0.25. This exam is of 2.4 hours duration and covers different sections with a total of 200 marks.
- Interview/Skill Test, document verification
Shortlisted for Basic CBT, applicants will have to appear for Stenography Skill Test and Transcript a Dictation of 10 minutes in English or Hindi. For the position of Stenographer Grade “C”, candidates should have a speed of 100 words per minute (wpm) and 80 words per minute for the position of Stenographer Grade “D”.
A final merit list will be issued as per the marks obtained in CBT and applicable category. Then they will be called for final document verification.
