Android Phone Reset: Hanging problem is common in old age. As soon as the data of the phone starts getting full. Smartphones automatically start slowing down. To get rid of this problem, we start deleting unnecessary data, but it does not make much difference. Apart from this, we can also reset the phone to factory settings to clear all the data from our phone. Factory reset is also called ‘formatting’ or ‘hard reset’.
It is worth noting that with factory reset, your smartphone eliminates all personal details such as photos, videos, files, contacts and cache.
Step 1- To reset the phone, first of all go to ‘Settings’ of your mobile.
Step 2-After going to Settings, scrolling down, you will see the option of ‘Backup And Reset’, click on it.
Step 3-After clicking on Backup and Reset, you will get the option of ‘Factory Data Reset’ at the bottom, tap on it.
Step 4-Now click on the option of ‘Reset Device’ at the bottom, then your phone will be reset in a while.
Samsung’s phone has a different way
Step 1-Go to your Samsung phone’s Settings, and tap Accounts and Backup.
Step 2-Then click on Manage Accounts.
Step 3- Here search for Samsung account and click on Entry and click on Remove Account.
Step 4-Go to Main Settings Menu.
Step 5-After that click on General Management.
Step 6Now scroll down and tap on the Reset option at the bottom.
Step 7Now click on factory data reset.
Step 8-Now an option will come to enter the password to unlock the phone, enter it.
Step 9- After that click on Delete All.
Most important thing: Before factory resetting your device, take a backup of all important data such as photos, contacts, text messages, as they will be completely deleted.
