Renault ties up with CSC Gramin e-stores to open 300 booking centers

New Delhi, Jun 23 (PTI) Union Minister Rajiv Chandrashekhar on Thursday said that social media platforms are not redressing complaints adequately.

He said that after receiving complaints in this regard, the government has taken steps to set up a Grievances Appellate Committee.

The Minister of State for Electronics and IT held an open discussion with the stakeholders on a draft notification to amend the Information Technology (Intermediate Guidelines and Digital Media Code of Conduct) Rules, 2021.

In this episode, the government proposes to set up a complaints committee, which will have the power to overturn the decisions of social media companies and other internet firms.
