HD Kumaraswamy alleged that Rahul Gandhi has been questioned on ‘political grounds’.


Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Janata Dal-Secular leader HD Kumaraswamy has alleged that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) harassed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi with repeated questioning in the National Herald case.

“Rahul Gandhi is being called for questioning continuously. Five days for questioning? All registrations and information are available with the ED. They can complete all inquiries in half an hour,” Kumaraswamy told reporters.

He alleged that the president of the contractors’ union in Karnataka had written a letter to the prime minister complaining about 40 per cent commission. “Why not inquire here?” The JD(S) leader asked.

He alleged that Rahul Gandhi has been questioned on “political grounds”.
