Indian Railway Recruitment 2022: Indian Railways invites online applications from eligible candidates for appointment of Act Apprentices for imparting training under Apprentices Act 1961 in designated trades in Workshops/Units under the jurisdiction of Northeast Frontier Railway for 5636 slots. Northeast Frontier Railway Recruitment Cell

Candidates should note and take cognizance of the fact that this is a centralized notification for engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 for Northeast Frontier Railway units and Nodal to Railway Recruitment Cell, Northeast Frontier Railway (RRC/NFR). designated as an agency. To receive ONUN applications from the candidates and prepare their merit list. No physical copy of the application is required to be sent to RRCs/Units.

After preparation of merit list, the same will be advised to the respective Divisions/Units on Northeast Frontier Railway. The document verification will be conducted in the selected Divisions/Units as mentioned in the applications of the candidate. Candidates must note that no centralized merit list will be generated.

Northeast Frontier Railway Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Age Range

Candidates should have completed 15 years of age and 1 should not have completed 24 years of age^{scheduled tribe} April 2022.

Minimum Educational Qualification

Candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) from recognized board with minimum 50% marks and also possess National Trade Certificate (ITI) in notified trade issued by it. Provisional certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training / National Council for Vocational Training.

In case of ITI and ITI final mark-sheet, copies of mark sheet and pass certificate of Matriculation (10th), Provisional Certificate/National Trade Certificate (NTC) certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT should be uploaded. Just completing the course is not enough. Candidates should have already passed the prescribed qualification on the date of issue of notification and should have ITI pass certificate / NTC / STC available with them.

Payment can be made by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking etc. by providing the information asked on the screen. Transaction charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidates.

Candidates are required to upload their color photograph and signature As per the specifications mentioned on the website. Also, candidates need to upload the below mentioned documents:

Candidates are required to upload the legible scanned copy of the following documents:

1. SSC (Standard 10th) or its equivalent mark sheet and class-10 pass certificate.
2. Certificate for proof of date of birth (Standard 10th or its equivalent certificate or mark sheet indicating date of birth or school leaving certificate indicating date of birth).
3. Consolidated mark sheet for all the semesters of the trade- indicating the marks/provisional national trade certificate applied for.
4. National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or Provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT.
5. Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates, wherever applicable
6. Disability certificate in case of handicapped candidate.
7. Discharge Certificate / Service Certificate in case of candidates applying under Ex-Servicemen quota.

On the day of document verification, as stated above, production of original documents is mandatory, without which they will not be allowed to appear in the document verification. Certificate in languages ​​other than English or Hindi must be accompanied by an attested translation in English/Hindi.

Northeast Frontier Railway Selection Process

The selection will be based on the merit list prepared (trade-wise, unit-wise, community-wise). Merit list in each unit will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be based on the average marks in Matriculation and ITI.

The percentage of candidates of Matriculation in all subjects will be counted for the purpose of calculation and not on the basis of marks scored in any subject or group of subjects like best of five etc.

For the purpose of computing the percentage of ITI marks, only the average marks mentioned in the consolidated statement of marks for all semesters of trade applied/marks mentioned in the Provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT will be counted.

In case of wrong/wrong declaration of marks, the candidature is liable to be cancelled.

Northeast Frontier Railway Final Merit List

A final merit list will be prepared unit-wise, trade-wise and community-wise, as stated above, equal to the number of slots in descending order of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate. The shortlisted candidates thus listed in the respective units will be called for document verification to the extent of 1.5 times the notified vacancies. Final shortlisted candidates will be subject to verification of uploaded original testimonials and production of medical certificate as per attached attachment.

Northeast Frontier Railway Training Duration and Stipend

The finally engaged candidates will be provided stipend at the prescribed rate as per the provision. No hostel accommodation will be provided and selected candidates will have to make their own arrangements during their training as per Apprentices Act 1961 and they will be released on completion of training.
