New Delhi, Jun 23 (PTI) IIFL Finance Ltd is planning to raise Rs 5,000 crore by issuing bonds on a private placement basis.

IIFL gave this information in the information sent to the stock exchange on Thursday.

The company said the bonds would be offered through a public issue. However, it is still subject to regulatory and statutory approvals.

The board of directors of IIFL in its meeting held on June 23, 2022, approved raising of capital through non-convertible debentures, the company said. The company will issue bonds worth Rs 5,000 crore in one or more tranches.

IIFL Finance is a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) which provides Housing Loans, Gold Loans and Business Loans.
