On 31st October 2022, Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) released a notification for the recruitment of Specialist Officers in all commercial banks of India. The commission will conduct the recruitment for 700 vacant seats of AFO, MO, IT Officer and Law Officer.

nationality –
- Candidates must have the citizenship of India.
- Candidates belonging to Nepal\Bhutan are eligible to apply for IBPS SO 2022 exam.
- Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1.1.1962.
- People who migrated to India from Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Burma, Sri Lanka, East Africa, Ethiopia and Pakistan with the intention of permanently settling in India.
