Former Congressman from Hawaii, Tulsi Gabbard, compared President Biden to Adolf Hitler at a rally in New Hampshire, claiming the two men share a “mindset” about leading a country.
Gabbard, who announced last week that she was leaving the Democratic Party, drew comparisons in Philadelphia last month to former President Donald Trump and Biden for his speech on undemocratic extremism, according to audio obtained from the media. The Daily Beast,
“And it’s something that, you know, throughout history, we see authoritarian leaders and dictators in other countries,” she said Sunday in Manchester while campaigning alongside New Hampshire GOP Senate candidate Don Bolduc.
“I’m pretty sure they all believe they’re doing what’s best,” she said. “Even Hitler thought he was doing what was best for Germany, didn’t he? For the German race. In his mind, he used a means to justify accomplishing his goal. Found a way.”
She continued, “So when we have people with that mindset, you know, whatever we have to do, we have to do it because President Biden said in that speech in Philadelphia that those who supported Trump, who voted. Not given they are extremists and a threat to our democracy.
The remarks come less than a week after the former 2020 presidential candidate announced leaving the Democratic PartyCiting “anti-white racism” and “cowardly awakening” on the left.
“I cannot live in today’s Democratic Party that is now in complete control of an oligarchy of warfighters … in our Constitution,” she said in a scathing Twitter video.
Gabbard, who had previously supported Biden’s presidential candidacy, also urged “fellow common-sense, free-minded Democrats” to leave the party.
Gabbard announced her plan to stump with bulldockRetired brigadier general and occasional election denial is challenging incumbent Senator Maggie Hassan last Wednesday.

A veteran of the Hawaii Army National Guard, Gabbard served in Iraq between 2004-2005. He and Bulldock share an outsider’s stance on military issues.
“I tried to get words like compassion, empathy and humanity to communicate leadership traits in the military, but they were considered too soft words by the leadership,” Bulldock told the New Hampshire union leader after Sunday’s campaign closed. “
In a radio interview on Sunday, Gabbard also hinted at a possible second presidential bid in his future.
“It’s also not something I’m even thinking about right now,” she clarified To Kevin Landrigan of Union Leader.

,[The Democratic Party] are actively undermining our fundamental freedoms and they are actively pushing us to the brink of nuclear war,” she said, alluding to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s threat of nuclear retaliation over the war in Ukraine.
The Bullocks are expected to team up with Ambassador Nikki Haley at a grassroots rally Tuesday afternoon.
Reps for Gabbard and Bulldock did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
