Three police officers were shot Wednesday night in Bristol, Connecticut, according to state police.
Connecticut State Police responding to an officer involved in the shooting in the Redstone Hill Road area, local station WFSB reported,
The state police told the police station that three officers were shot.
He did not give details about the extent of the police injuries.
It was not immediately clear which police agency the officers who were shot worked with.
Bristol police and state personnel were present at the scene.

“It’s scary, especially Bristol is a peaceful city and it’s scary to hear something like this here,” resident Ted Kravik told the station.
