Dozens of migrant kids flown to New York by Biden

A New York mayor lashed out at President Biden and his team after the Fed secretly moved the children of dozens of migrants to their small town last week, telling The Post: “It feels secret.”

least two overseas flights Officials have landed at Montgomery’s Orange County airport from El Paso, Texas, in recent weeks, according to officials.

The latest flight, which landed last Friday night, carrying 25 minors aged 13 to 18, were quickly deported to 12 locations, including children’s homes and shelters, between the tri-state and New York City. were scattered in the suburban areas.

Montgomery Village Mayor Steve Brescia told The Post on Tuesday, “He was taken out of the county when he got here.”

“We were never informed about any incoming flight into the airport. It is disturbing that we were not informed about this,” he continued. “We are concerned about the safety of passengers who did not know where they were going.”

He said: “It seems secret.”

According to Montgomery County Deputy Police Chief Paul Arteta, last week’s flight was arranged by the Biden administration’s Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) – which falls under the Department of Health and Human Services.

Meanwhile, several adults working as custodians for minors were contracted by MVM — a controversial Virginia-based private security firm that works for the US government, Arteta said.

The Biden administration has come under fire of late organizing a group of covert expatriate flights — despite publicly shaming Republican governors, including Texas’ Greg Abbott and Florida’s Ron DeSantis, for sending migrants to various Democratic-run cities.

It comes after an initial migrant flight touched down at Orange County Airport on September 16, but it was not immediately clear how many migrants were on that plane.

Both the September 16 and September 30 flights arrived from El Paso and were registered with the same company, Freight Runners Express, according to flight logs.

Local authorities and police only became aware of the flights when someone at the airport reported “suspicious” activity last Friday after minors were seen disembarking and boarding a waiting bus and van.

The minors were seen getting off the plane last Friday and boarding the waiting bus and van.

Police immediately stopped the bus as it left the airport to question residents and migrant children in Honduras, Ecuador, Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua.

Arteta said, “In our initial call the witness thought she heard one of the children say that they were here against their will, so that was our main concern – looking after the children and finding out where they were.” have come from.”

He said adults have a file containing flight plans and paperwork on each child, including their names, dates of birth, country of origin and where they were traveling.

The file shows the minors were being shipped to a dozen different shelters, children’s homes and “verified sponsors” in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

As he was being questioned, Arteta said that the contractors were initially hesitant to give any information about what they were doing or who had instructed them to do so.

“They were very reluctant to tell us anything,” Arteta said, adding that none of them had “any federal ID.”

“Once we got in touch with some of the federal agencies we got some more information and they opened up. We found that ORR was the main agency handling it,” he continued.

“Once we got in touch with ORR, they explained that this is not the way to go down and that if they bump into law enforcement, they should explain what they are doing.”

Finally getting to the bottom of the ordeal, Arteta said officials and local authorities made sure the tired kids were fed and had some toiletries.

“Taking them 2,000 or 3,000 miles away from where they originated is just terrifying,” Arteta said. “They knew they were going to help in some way, but they had absolutely no idea what was going on.”

“These children should be reunited with their parents. Don’t care about all the politics, they should live with their parents, ”said Arteta.

The deputy police chief said he was not aware that more migrant flights were expected in the coming weeks.

“I don’t know if there will be more. Orange County is an open airport, so it’s not like they have to check in to land,” he said. “It can be used for a while, then Maybe they move to a different airport.”

Places where migrant children were taken last Friday included Catholic Guardian Services in the Bronx and Children’s Village Shelter in Westchester County.

Some were also resettled for the Children’s Home of Kingston in Ulster County and the Center for Family Services in Northfield, New Jersey.

Neighbors who live near the Catholic Guardian Services shelter in the Bronx said they saw children and teenagers playing outside as of late.

“Every day they are out and they play football,” 56-year-old Miguel López told The Post.

“They’re really nice and courteous to people,” said Mike Dixon, who has lived on the block for 40 years.

A local woman, who only gave her name as Bee, said the children had started coming home last summer.

“Just one day I saw a bunch of kids playing in front of me,” she said, adding that she had never had any “trouble” with them.
