President Biden’s coronavirus-response coordinator has said Americans should get a flu shot as well as an annual COVID-19 vaccine – adding that “why God gave us two arms.”
Ashish Jha Told in a White House press briefing on Tuesday that the administration’s focus was “making vaccines a more regular part of our lives” with “annual protection.”
“The good news is that you can get both your flu shot and the COVID shot at the same time. It’s a really cool idea,” said Jha, who is also dean of the Brown University School of Public Health.

Jha also reiterated the message from earlier in the pandemic that people should get vaccinated to help grandparents and vulnerable members of the community.
“So, today, we’re calling on all Americans: Roll up your sleeves to get your COVID-19 vaccine shots,” he said.
Jha stressed that the US has reached “an important milestone” with vaccines, which have long divided the country and led many to refuse to take them.
“For a large majority of Americans, we are getting to a point where a single annual COVID shot should provide a high level of protection against serious disease throughout the year,” he said, necessitating a shot every few months. Compared to.
