Karnataka TET 2022 – Details, Dates & Links

• Preliminary Examination (Class 1 to 5)
• Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6 to 8)

Minimum 18 years and Maximum 40 years.

Upper age relaxation for reserved category will be as per reservation rules of the government.

Teachers from class 1 to 5:

• PUC Senior Secondary Minimum 50% Exam Passed. and two years D.El.Ed. Passed in the second year of the course (by whatever name called) or appeared in the final examination of the second year[Candidates awaiting results. • Passed PUC / Senior Secondary (Equivalent) Exam with Minimum 50% Marks. And the candidates who have passed four years of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or who are waiting for the result of appearing in the final year final semester examination. either
• Senior Secondary (equivalent) examination passed with minimum 50% marks. And passed two years Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR Candidates appearing for the 2nd year, annual examination / final semester examination and waiting for the result. either
• Graduation with 50% marks and passed in 2nd year or 2nd year of two year D.El.Ed course (by whatever name called) appearing in annual examination/final examination and awaiting result. either
  
• Graduation passed with at least 50% marks and who have passed B.Ed degree or appeared in final semester examination and expecting result.

Teachers from class 6 to 8:

• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed in 2nd year of two year D.El.Ed course (by whatever name called) or 2nd year prospective candidates, appearing in final examination and result of Year I. either
• Obtained at least 50% marks in Graduation and who have passed in B.Ed degree or who have appeared for the end semester examination and expecting the result. either
• PUC with at least 50% marks in Senior Secondary (equivalent) examination and who have passed four years of Graduation, Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or appearing in final year/semester examination and result waiting for, or
• Must have secured at least 50% marks in PUC/Senior Secondary (equivalent) examination and must have passed in four year degree or appearing in final year, annual examination/end semester examination and awaiting result. either
  
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and who have passed two years B.Ed (Special Education) degree or who have appeared in final semester examination and expecting result.

General Merit, Cat 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B Candidates:

• For Paper 1 or Paper 2: Rs. 700/-
• For Paper 1 & Paper 2: Rs. 1000/-

SC / ST / Cat-1 Candidates:

• For Paper 1 or Paper 2: Rs. 350/-
• For Paper 1 & Paper 2: Rs. 500/
