Vicky Kaushal Smiles In Unseen BTS Pic From Anurag Kashyap Film


Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s cinematic miracle Gangs of Wasseypur completes 10 years on the horizon of Indian cinema today. The film helped the audience as well, and the filmmakers realized the immense potential that actors like Jaideep Ahlawat, Pankaj Tripathi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui had. One of the major USPs of gangster drama apart from superb direction, great acting, effective dialogues and impeccable cinematography is none other than ace casting director Mukesh Chhabra.

Celebrating 10 years of ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, Mukesh Chhabra not only took to Instagram to share the news with his followers but also posted some interesting unseen BTS pictures from the sets, featuring Vicky Kaushal, Neeraj Ghaywan and Shilpa Srivastava. Mukesh wrote a long note on Instagram and completed 10 years of the cult film.

While Mukesh did the right casting for the film, Vicky, Neeraj and Shilpa assisted Anurag in the film, which became a cult classic.

The picture posted by Mukesh on his Instagram story sees the Uri actor smiling as he spends a light moment with his co-mates on the sets of Gangs Of Wasseypur.


Another picture shared by Mukesh on his Instagram handle, shows the film’s team again at the Cannes Film Festival.

In an exclusive chat with, Jaideep Ahlawat opened up about what the film means to him, and the experience of shooting for it.

Talking about the film achieving a cult status, Jaideep said, “I always say that Gangs of Wasseypur was my first knock at the door of Hindi cinema, where a lot of people felt for the first time that Ginkgo There is an actor around you can try (where many people for the first time thought that there is an actor around who can be cast). That film was very special from Hama, and aaj bhi special hai mere life mein. Length The role was not very big according to me, but I think the most beautiful part of good writing or good direction is that it does not depend much on the length.
