RBI Grade B 2022 Background
Reserve Bank of India is conducting RBI Grade B 2022 exam to recruit eligible Indian citizens to fill up 294 vacancies of RBI Grade B Officer (General), RBI Grade B Officer – DEPR, and RBI Grade B Officer – DSIM. Qualified candidates will be called for RBI Grade B 2022 in different stages for each post. Candidates will have to secure minimum marks separately in each examination as well as in aggregate as prescribed by the Board. Candidates securing minimum marks separately for each examination are shortlisted for Phase-II of the examination on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in Phase-I.

For Paper I & III Descriptive Paper, 6 questions will be asked out of which candidates will have to attempt 4 questions. (2 marks each (with difficulty level) out of 15 and 2 marks each out of 10). If the candidate answers more than 4 questions in the descriptive, the first 4 will be evaluated.
RBI Grade B 2022 General Phase-2 Best 5 Last-Minute Tips to Score High
1. Modify through syllabus, exam pattern, cut-off
All the papers of Phase-II (except the English paper) will be set bilingually in Hindi and in English. Candidates will have the option to choose the question in Hindi or in English. The choice of language is to be selected at the beginning of the examination. However, as required, you will be able to switch/toggle between the two languages after selecting the language option. Answers to objective type papers of Phase-II (i.e. Paper-I and Paper-III) are to be marked by clicking on the correct option and then clicking ‘Save and Next’.
The exam time in morning shift (Paper-III) and afternoon shift (Paper-I and II) is 120 and 210 minutes respectively; However, you may have to be at the venue for around 160 and 240 minutes which includes the time required for attendance marking, submission of admit card with photocopy of photo ID proof, logging in etc.
2. Penalty for wrong answer; avoid guessing
Paper-I & Paper-III: Objective Type Papers: All questions in Objective Type Papers will have Multiple Choice. The questions will be of different marks, which will be indicated in the question papers. You can attempt any question at any time within the allotted time of 30 minutes. Out of five answers to a question, only one will be the correct answer. You have to select the correct answer and ‘mouse click’ the option that you think is correct. The option/option you have clicked on will be highlighted and treated as the answer to that question (after “Save and Next”). There will be penalty for wrong answers marked by you. For every wrong answer marked by you, 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
3. Check Important Instructions Related to Exam Schedule
(A) Paper III (Finance and Management) Will be in morning shift, followed by Paper I (Economics and Social Issues) and Paper II (English) in afternoon shift without any break between Paper I and Paper II.
(b) For Paper I and Paper IIIThe duration of 30 minutes is allotted to solve the objective type questions. After 30 minutes, the descriptive type paper will start for which the duration of 90 minutes is allotted. You will not be able to shuffle between objective/descriptive papers.
(c) For Paper I and Paper III, The word limit of the descriptive type paper will be 600 words for questions of 15 marks and 400 words for questions of 10 marks.

Women candidates who have changed their first/last/middle name after marriage should take special care of this. if there is a mismatch Between the name indicated in the admit card and the photo identity proof, you will not be allowed to appear in the examination. In case of candidates who have changed their name, they will be allowed only if they produce Gazette notification/ their marriage certificate/ affidavit.
