# JEE Main Paper 2 June 23 first session: Analysis based on students’ reaction JEE Main Paper 2 Analysis: Foreoon session of JEE (Main) 2022 Paper 2 exam for B.Arch./B. The plan was made on Thursday 23 June 2022. Thursday was the first day of JEE Main exam scheduled for session 1.

Students’ immediate feedback regarding JEE Main’s Paper 2 (Forest session on June 23, 2022)

(1) Paper-2 of JEE (Main) (B.Arch paper) was different from Paper-2 of B Planning.

(2) The full marks of both (B.Arch and B.Planning) of JEE Main Paper-2 were 400 respectively.

(3) Overall, the paper was of moderate level according to the students.

Analysis of B. Arch paper (2A):

*Part-I- Mathematics had a total of 30 questions – Section-I had 20 multiple choice questions with single correct answer and Part-II had 10 numerical based questions out of which only 5 were to be attempted. The marking scheme for both multiple choice questions and numerical based questions was +4 for correct response, -1 for incorrect response, 0 for non-attempt. (* Had to attempt 5 out of 10 numerical based questions in Mathematics)

*Part-II- Aptitude section had total 50 questions – 50 multiple choice questions with single correct answers. The marking scheme for multiple choice questions was +4 for correct answer, -1 for wrong answer, 0 for no attempt. The total marks of this section was 200.

*Part-III- Drawing section had 2 questions carrying 50 marks each. The total marks of this section was 100.

*As per student feedback, the difficulty level of JEE Main Paper-2 (B.Arch) was Moderate

*Maths – Moderate to Difficult level. The students reported that the numerical based had some lengthy questions related to calculations. The chapter on 3D Geometry was given more weightage.

* Aptitude – Easy to Moderate level. Mostly questions from 3- Dimensional Figures.

* Drawing- Easy Levels. One question consisted of drawing and coloring the scene of the festival of Holi, the question on the color scheme of the Burger King logo and the other question was to recreate the given figure with the correct ratio (1:500).

B. Analysis of Planning Paper (2B):

*Part-I- Mathematics had a total of 30* questions -Part-I had 20 multiple choice questions with single correct answer and Part-II had 10 numerical based questions out of which only 5 were to be attempted. The marking scheme for multiple choice questions was +4 for correct answer, -1 for wrong answer, 0 for no attempt. The marking scheme for numerical based questions was +4 for correct answer, -1 for wrong answer and 0 in all other cases. The total marks of this section was 100.

(* Had to attempt 5 out of 10 numerical based questions in Mathematics)

*Part-II- Aptitude section had total 50 questions – 50 multiple choice questions with single correct answers. The marking scheme for multiple choice questions was +4 for correct answer, -1 for wrong answer, 0 for no attempt. The total marks of this section was 200.

*Part-III- Planning section had a total of 25 questions – 25 multiple choice questions with single correct answers. The marking scheme for multiple choice questions was +4 for correct answer, -1 for wrong answer, 0 for no attempt. The total marks of this section was 100.

As per the feedback received from the students, the difficulty level of JEE Main Paper-2 (B Planning) was Moderate

JEE Main 2022 June 24 paper 1 analysis based on students' feedback

* Mathematics – Moderate Level. Some questions from Calculus. Weightage is given to vector and 3D geometry.

* Aptitude – Easy to Moderate level. Mostly 3D sized questions viewed from different angles were asked.

* Scheme – Easy level. Few questions were asked from Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC).

(4) Students were given enough plain paper for rough work.

(5) No error was pointed out in the question papers.

(6) Proper social distancing was followed at the examination centre.
